Do I need a deep cycle battery in my SUV/4WD?
You would only need a deep cycle battery if you wanted to power a portable 12 volt fridge or other types of electrical accessories, if so you would need to set up a dual battery system in your vehicle. If it is only to start the vehicle a cranking/starting battery is all that is required.
